  • Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

  • For over 3O years, Online Power, has been a leading designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of COT’s, COT’s-modified, and fully custom, designed-engineered “power equipment” (power inverters, power regulators, PDU’s, UPS’s, power conditioners), for the commercial and industrial market segments. OnLine Power’s products are used in a wide range of application and industries; aerospace, factory automation, electrical, power, manufacturing, and traffic, to name a few. OnLine Power markets and sells it products through a multi-leveled sales channel made up of direct sales, manufacturers reps, value-added distributors, and value added resellers across North America and around the world.

    Currently, OnLine Power is looking for a dynamic, experienced individual with these types of products, technologies, and market segments to fill this newly created “Regional Sales Engineer” position with our organization.

     Region Geography: Northeast Region; Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia.

     Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline with 7-10 years of hands on engineering experience. Experience must include demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of design for manufacturability.

     MUST possess, experience, working knowledge, and understanding of ALL types of power equipment, power products, power systems, power design, and power applications (UPS, PDU’s, power inverters, power conditioners, and isolation transformers) in the 25-750KVA range. 

     MUST have experience working directly with leading architectural design firms, general contractors, electrical engineering firms, municipalities, utilities, and DOT’s. In addition, the RSE will be responsible for identifying, calling on, and working with a wide range of OEM design-engineers and product procurement personnel within the; aerospace, automation, A/V, communications, data communications, defense, energy, IT, security, telecommunications, and traffic market segments.

    Must demonstrate the ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times and under all circumstances; outstanding and exceptional account management and business development skills; effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines; exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation  skills; strong customer service, quality, and team orientation; organizational skills and detail focus; self motivation, self direction, and able to work independently; and a commitment to continuous improvement of knowledge, skills and abilities.

     Must be able to work remotely from within assigned geographic territory and travel extensively within that territory on an on-going basis, identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities.  Position will report directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development.

     OnLine Power offers a competitive base salary, with an unlimited/uncapped commission plan, and expenses, for the right individual.
